What Are My In-Person Sales Presentation Options For On Location And Remote Sales? – N-Vu

Key Idea: IPS Sessions can be conducted with a single screen or Dual-Vu. Dual-Vu enables one photographer screen to control the view on one (or more) client screens. Dual-Vu has a variety of configurations including a single computer driving two screens, or multiple computers driving independent screens. This support document will show how to set up these different options.

IPS Monitor Set Up

Single Screen

Single Screen options work with tablets, laptops and desktop computers. You and your client will see the same IPS Session screen.

Option 1: Use one device and one screen to present IPS Sessions.

For example, a tablet, laptop or desktop computer connected to one monitor.

1. When using a single screen, first launch your IPS Session by selecting “Begin Sales Session."

2. Select Single Screen

3. Toggle Fullscreen On to hide browser controls and focus the client on your images, or Off to show browser controls.

4. Conduct your IPS Session

Option 2: Use mirroring to show Single Screen on two screens connected the same device.

For example, a laptop or desktop computer connected to two monitors.

First, go into your computer’s monitor settings and set “mirroring” to on.
Follow the three steps in option 1 above.

Dual-Vu

Dual-Vu options work with two or more tablets, laptops and desktop computers. Each device will be used to connect to the IPS Session using a web browser. The photographer will use the Photographer View, and the client(s) will use the Client View.

Option 3: You will present two browser windows in Dual-Vu mode on one device driving two screens/monitors. For example, your laptop is driving a big screen TV as a second monitor via an HDMI cable. Watch this video to see how it's done.

1. First, go to your computer’s monitor settings and set “mirroring” to off.

2. Launch your IPS Session by selecting “Begin Sales Session.”

3. Select or add a client to link your client’s favorites, ratings and orders to their email address.

4. Select Dual-Vu

5. Open the Photographer Screen on your device

6. Open the Client Screen and drag that browser window to the client display (TV, projector).

7. Conduct your IPS Session

Option 4: You will present two browser windows in Dual-Vu mode on two devices. For example, your laptop is used for the Photographer Screen, and your desktop computer is connected to a big screen TV. Watch this video to see how it's done.

Note: This configuration is used for remote IPS Sessions.

Follow steps 1-5 for Option 3

Step 6 to display the Client screen is the one difference between option 3 and 4.

6. Share the Client Screen web address to your client for them to load into their browser.

Note: Devices like Chromecast, Apple TV and Fire Sticks can be used. Due to the many devices on the market and their changing features, we recommend applying the basic concepts in this help document along with instructions on how to display a browser on a screen using one of these devices.
