Key Idea: Ratings are a way for a photographer or a client to rate an image. N-Vu provides several ratings scales for you to use. This simple point-and-click way to rate images is available in all culling views, and works with multi-select, too.
How to Set Up Ratings
1. From your Event Dashboard, select Edit for an IPS Session or Client Gallery.
2. Go to Culling.
3. Choose the rating system that works best for you.
Tip: Photographers who use Yes/No complete their culling in one pass. Those who use ratings with three to five options, generally cull Maybe and 3-Star ratings in a second pass.
4. Once Ratings are turned on for an IPS Session or Client Gallery, rating options will appear in the gallery as your mouse rolls over an image, or for "touch devices", you tap on an image.
Tip: Select the checkmark in the upper left corner of an image to use multi-select image rating.
5. The results of your ratings are linked to the email address used for the IPS Session or Client Gallery. Your results are shown in the Images section of your Event.
