Key Idea: Custom Products allow you to sell anything through Client Galleries and IPS Sessions. We will email you when a custom product is ordered so that you know to fulfill it. Custom Products are manual fulfill only and the shipping cost needs to be build into the base price, Shipping costs will not be applied to checkout on Custom Lab Products if the N-Vu Calculated shipping cost is being used.
There are two types of Custom Products.
Custom Products are simple items like a single image print in an odd size or organic material, or a simple multi-image product such as an album.
Pro Custom Products are dynamic order forms you can configure to sell products with consumer options like cover types or embossing options.
To create any new Custom Product, click the Create New button in the top right corner of your Price List Manager and select Custom Product or Pro Custom Product. Once you have created your custom products, move to the Price Lists tab, select a price list to add products to it. The Custom Products tab is a complete list of all your custom products and custom categories.
Custom Products
These simple custom products can be included in both custom categories and N-Vu categories which include N-Vu auto-fulfillable items (prints, metals, gallery wraps & digitals). You may input dimensions so the product can be cropped and viewed in Room-Vu and Real-Vu. Or, if you wish to sell a multi-image product like an album, you can increase the image limit so your client can associate multiple images to a product. It’s important to note that when a custom product includes more than one image it can no longer be cropped or viewed in Room-Vu or Real-Vu.
- Name: Briefly describe the product (i.e. 24x30 Acrylic Fine Art or 6x9 Album)

- Dimensions (optional): For prints and wall art, set dimensions so customers can crop and use RoomVu.
- Max Images: For an album, or other multi-image product, set the image limit. (note: multi-image products cannot be cropped or viewed in Room-Vu)

Form Builder Questions: This is the order form that allows customers to specify their product options using questions and answers. You can customize how you want to gather their options.
- Text: Prompt customers how to answer. For example: What embossing text do you want on your album?
- Multi-Line Text: Similar to Text but with more space for your clients answer. Example: Describe the retouching you would like done.
- Images: Like Custom Products, you can offer multi-image products. Example: Q1-Select up to 75 images for your album, Q2-Select an image for the cover. Or in the case of a holiday card, Select a landscape image for the print and two portrait images for the back.
- Dropdown List: Choose from multiple options. Example: Select a color for your album cover. [Black] [Beige] [Gray] [Forrest] [Ruby] etc...
- Radio Buttons: Like a dropdown list but better for three or fewer options. Example: Would you like one line of embossing on the front of your album? [Yes] or [No].
- Checkboxes: Use when it's possible to select multiple options. Example: Retouching options. [smooth skin] [stray hair] [remove braces] etc..
- Additional Input: Use this field for supplemental add-on charges, to prompt additional image choices or request text instructions. Example: Upgrade album to 100 images. (Additional input would be the incremental price for this upgrade and a prompt to select a limited set of images)
