Key Idea: Adding a Watermark is a great way to promote your brand and protect your images from piracy. Watermarks may be applied to your images using text, or a .png file.
Watermarks are used for display and are available for embedding onto web resolution digital downloads, but otherwise the original version of your image is left un-watermarked for printing lab orders.
Creating a Watermark.
1. To create a Watermark, go to Galleries> Watermarks. You can choose text or upload a .png file to use as your Watermark.
2. To add a text Watermark, click “Create New Watermark” and follow these steps:
- Name the Watermark
- Set Watermark type to text
- Choose Bold or Italic
- Enter the text you want for your watermark
- Choose your font
- Set the size, location and opacity
To add an image Watermark, click “Create New Watermark” and follow these steps:
- Name the Watermark
- Set Watermark type to Image
- Upload your Image
- Set the size, location and opacity
3. Apply your watermark IPS sessions, Client Galleries, Mobile Apps, Presets, and Digital Downloads.
