How To Copy Filenames From An Order Or Favorite Folder – N-Vu

Key Idea: After your client has placed an order, selected their favorites or rated their images you may want to work with those images in another program. This support doc will show you how to filter and then copy images to your clipboard so that you can search for those files in another program.

How To Copy Image File Names

1. Go to Event Images. Select the view you want to copy images from.

2. Click the download icon and choose "Download Filenames."

3. From the dialogue box, select Copy to copy the filenames to your devices clipboard.

4. Paste the filenames from the clipboard into the search box of the application you are using to locate your image files.

In Lightroom, use the text filter to sort by "filename" and "contains", then paste the copied filenames into the search field.

If the files don't appear initially, make sure you have the original folder containing all of the event images loaded into lightroom, and make sure there are no spaces in the filenames.
